The Puppy Foundations Program is one of the most comprehensive around. I will help guide you from the frustrating days of puppyhood to a well socialized, well behaved canine ready for the next phase of training.
My Puppy Foundations Program includes elements of the American Kennel Club S.T.A.R. Puppy Program and adds to it.

Socialization
Too many of the behavior problems of adult dogs can be traced back to improper socialization. Its more than just "getting your dog outside around other dogs"... its the systematic introduction of the world to a puppy which then allows your dog to mature into a confident, social dog.
Training
Teaching your puppy manners starts early. I focus on both casual "House Rules" and more formal "School Rules" when it comes to behaviors.
These are taught based on the puppies development and expectations are age appropriate.
Activity
Proper and age appropriate exercise helps your puppy grow into a confident and healthy dog.
We will work on how to effectively keep your puppy happy and healthy through activities designed to stimulate their developing brain and help them safely learn to play.
Responsibility
I focus on both ends of the leash. We will discuss what it means to be an ethical dog owner and what your responsibilities are in guiding your puppy into being a well mannered, well socialized canine family member.
The fact is both the dog AND the human often need training.
